1. Acceptance of Terms
The MRI Staff Screening App is an internal tool operated by Children’s Nebraska. By accessing or using it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the hospital’s policies governing the MRI environment and protected health information. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Authorized Use
The app is provided for authorized Children’s Nebraska personnel to capture MRI safety screenings and, for Radiology staff, to review them. It is not a public service. Use it only for the MRI safety-screening purposes for which access was granted.
3. Accounts & Access
Dashboard access is granted by a Radiology manager and carries a role — Viewer, Reviewer, or Radiology Manager — that determines what you can see and do. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account, and report suspected compromise promptly.
4. Handling of Protected Health Information
Screening records contain Protected Health Information. You agree to access, use, and disclose PHI only as permitted by your role and by HIPAA and Children’s Nebraska policy. Access to each record is logged. Do not copy, export, or transmit PHI outside approved hospital systems.
5. Accuracy of Screening Information
A screening supports, but does not replace, the clinical judgment of qualified MRI staff. Those completing a screening agree to answer truthfully and completely; reviewers agree to verify safety-critical responses before an MRI decision is made. A completed screening is valid for one year, and a new submission supersedes any prior one.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to attempt to access records or functions beyond your granted role, to interfere with or probe the security of the app, or to enter unlawful, false, or malicious content. The app may not be used for any purpose unrelated to MRI safety screening at Children’s Nebraska.
7. Suspension & Termination
A Radiology manager may revoke or change your access at any time, and Children’s Nebraska may suspend access for a breach of these Terms or hospital policy. Access also ends when your role or employment changes. Obligations regarding PHI survive the end of your access.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided for internal use as part of the MRI safety workflow. It does not itself certify that any person is safe to enter the MRI environment; that determination rests with qualified Radiology staff following hospital protocol.
